More training

I am so glad the sun is out. I detest the rain… I look out of the front door and run in… and then do this really effective shivering thing… it works every time… and I just have cuddles instead…. I often think a couple of runs of the length of the conservatory will do….I can see why the vet gives me an old fashioned look every now and again….

However, I have a secret life….one that David and Catherine don’t know about…. When I am with them, I am very protective: I bark at other dogs to warn them to keep away…. in fact I only need to hear another dog bark and I tell it off, tell it to be quiet… I always have to have the last word…I can so see where the idea of “twilight barking” comes from in 101 Dalmatians….

But then, I have my life with Shula ( www.k9affections.moonfruit.com). I love Shula and Shula loves me. She is my dog walker who takes me out three afternoons a week… its only supposed to be for an hour, but sometimes it can be for half a day….we go everywhere together… I love it when we go the woods (I get right into all the mud and often need a bath when I get back. I forget who I have become, and enjoy who I am… I am not just a show dog… I am a hound….that’s what I want to help fund at both fAABI and Amarna… help people enjoy who they are, escape for a moment…

The other thing is that I don’t bark at other dogs. I love Gary the redsetter…he is a bit taller than me but we have great fun in the park. Then there is Bowser, the pug/Boston terrier cross. Its great to have people like you to share with, they just understand. Both fAABi and Amarna are all about that too… However, my favourite is Buzz

Isn’t he cute, and he looks just like my puppies used to. I do miss my puppies, I miss that bit of my life (and having visited the vet, that is definitely over!) You can see from the expression on my face that I am a little unsure. He snuggles up to me, and takes a little bit of my fur in his mouth for reassurance, and then he falls asleep. It's then I realise it's not all about me…..sometimes we have to give a little back…. and you know what, it makes me feel good too…so on that note… have you sponsored me yet?
