The Scooter

This picture has got nothing to do with the blog today, but I think I look beautiful, so I just put it on here… ladies, we all know its not vanity, we just need to bring a little bit of gorgeousness to a wet and rainy morning….

After the tiring runs on the beach, I am excited because I understand that Scooter has been transferred from her stables in York to the Garden Room in Southend. She made the journey in the back of the Landrover and she has arrived safely. I am sure some of you had an image of Pam powering down the hard shoulder of the A1…unlike me, her ears wouldn’t have been flappy wildly with the exertion…although it is a look to conjure…. it would be more cashmere wrap streaming behind her…..I have this image of her in a Biggles flying hat and goggles…. Seriously Pam, it could be a good look for you… sort of a cloche hat with a difference! Anyway, that’s all just silly, scooter can only go 16 miles….Pam you would be all dressed up, with nowhere to go…and thumbing down lorry drivers… a first for her I am sure (no raised eyebrows please)….

Pam tells me that she has been thinking of her riding colours: and has thinking of turquoise and purple. However, I must insist that it will need to be all eyes averted if there is a “weigh-in”. After my recent trip to the vets, that is no ones business but my own.

I recognise that being so challenged in the leg department means I might need to sit in the basket for a bit of a ride….this weekend, I am going to investigate whether I fit, and whether it is comfy enough….if not it will be off to the shops….
