….considering my legs are so short I have to do a lot of walking….
I have mentioned the fun I have reverting to my genetic roots with Shula…running wild three afternoons a week…
….then there is my second walker Lauren. She comes in every afternoon after school to take me out. We have a much girlier time.
Lauren is Catherine’s niece, and you can tell… I find it very comforting… you can see they are related. You can tell when Lauren grows up she is going to be very Audrey Hepburn…. she is neat, tidy and very girly… I sometimes wonder if I should ask her to borrow some of her lip gloss, it seems to be in evidence a lot…. And quite often she brings one of her friends… and we walk to the park together.
The school they go to is only 100 yards away, and so there are often lots of the girls around, and they all come up and ooh and aah…it just what a girl needs… The park is nice… its quite small… and usually no other dogs are there to interrupt me… I like to concentrate on my peeps and poops in private.
Then back to the training….we run home… at full pelt (the whole 100 yards)…why…because Lauren gives me my tea…well its my only meal of the day actually…. you know I should be so thin….and I wolf it down in seconds….
…so peeps and poops at your convenience, one meal a day arriving on time, all things we take for granted. I, like some of the people I am raising money for, rely on someone else for these basic things… you know, no matter how nice the people who look after you are… like my little poppet Lauren….it makes you feel a bit odd… a bit out of control….so despite the prospect of sore paws I am putting my best foot (lucky I have a choice of four) forward…
